Calcium Aluminate (Fused)
Calcium Aluminate is fused in a furnace under high temperature from mixture of bauxite and other materials. There are many uses for calcium aluminate as an industrial mineral. But to steel industry its most important use may be for synthetic slag applications primarily in ladle metallurgy operations such as sulpuer and inclusion removal in steel, consistent slag chemistry. And the sulpuer removal rate can be up to 30%.
